Use Featured Product guides and Interactive Programs at Trade Shows

Printers and graphic designers love trade shows because most clients fill their timesheets and presses with promotional and technical literature plus several product data sheets. Most B2B clients get carried away and produce more literature than needed. Even if they hand out most of it at a show, most time it ends up in the trash can. Attendees have limited room in their briefcase or carry-on bag to hold material they can view online. A good alternative that also keeps your printing costs down is to produce a small 4.25″ x 10″ booklet that contains overview of the products featured at the show. The size is ideal for digital presses so you can print short runs in a few days. Plus its 4.35 inch width makes it ideal for a pocket or pocket book. Plus, it takes up minimal space when packed for the flight home. If your goal is to provide your guest with all of your products’ literature, put it on a CD or flash drive. But remember, whatever you do at the show needs to be followed up after the show. Send out an eMail or hand-written note thanking them for stopping by the booth. Offer to send them your digital files or literature. It’s a great way to start nurturing the lead and turning it into a new client.
